Laying in the open field near her home, Sheeta seemed to stare up at the sky and get lost in her thoughts. It was nice to be back home where she belonged and that everything was the same as she had left it. Even her animals had managed on their own. Sighing lightly, the young girl stared up at the clouds that seemed to dance across the sky. Each one taking on a different form. But none were as big as the cloud that hid Laputa, did it really float away and not come back. Or maybe it did come back and she had just missed the days it passed over.
Feeling a breeze blow over the grass she was laying in, Sheeta suddenly sat up and looked around. She could hear what sounded like running through the grass towards her home. Was it an animal? Getting up she brushing herself off, she decided to follow the sound.
Hearing footsteps behind her, Arrietty stops knotting a piece of grass. by the rhythm of them, she can tell that they aren’t of a borrower. Realizing that they are of a human, she runs under a small flower in the field, hoping not to get caught.
